ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT/SOLUTION ARCHITECT - JAVA J2EE PORTAL PROGRAMME
6 month to 2 year day rate contract assignment - Major Online Programme
Location - Dublin, Ireland €400-500/day
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect/Enterprise Architect working on a full life cycle, Greenfield IT programme.
As the key Solution Architect/Enterprise Architect you will ideally have worked on major web/portal driven programmes or be familiar with working in a Java/J2EE Technology stack, however the emphasis in this role is to provide the overarching Architectural framework and manage senior stakeholder relationships ensuring that all key strategic business objectives are understood and incorporated into the final IT technical solution.
Key skills & expertise:
- Solution Architect/Enterprise Architect experienced in taking ownership for the development of all "high level" architecture to wrap around major development driven projects. Ideally trained to TOGAF, Agile, SCRUM, W3C or similar standards.
- Excellent knowledge of the full software development life cycle with previous relevant project architecture experience integrating both business and IT interests and ensuring the successful design and development of complex, scalable Consumer/Business Online/portal and/or Web based applications.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management expertise with the ability to fully meet and manage client and business expectations, develop relationships, respond to additional business demands, RFP's, tenders etc.
- Previous working knowledge of a selection of the following technologies and applications highly desirable - although as previously mentioned this is solution architect rather than technical role:
- SPRING (in particular v3.0), J2EE, Tomcat/JBOSS ESB
- Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Data Interchange Formats (XML,JSON)
- SQL Server, LDAP, NoSQL Solutions
- PHP, Shell, Perl & Python Scripting
- Single Sign-On (SAML, OpenID)/Web Application Security Standards (OWASP etc)
