Enterprise Architect - IT Strategy

We are currently looking for an Enterprise Architect for an innovative government & privately funded organisation to lead the development of strategies, implementing roadmaps, and deliver high level solutions to support their business needs.

The initial engagement will be 3-6 months contract with view to extensions.

You can be based in Canberra or Melbourne but will be required to travel (particularly to Canberra) at least 50% of the time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Delivering expertise in defining Enterprise Architecture policies, standards, principles, reference architectures and procedures for development of the new IT strategies.
- Developing and implementing enterprise-wide capability roadmaps and impact. assessments to support business outcomes.
- Lead the development of strategies within one or more domains of specialisation for the organisation.
- Deliver solutions with a large degree of independence across the enterprise architecture to support business needs.

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Current-state architecture across applications, information and infrastructure
- Application portfolio
- Service catalogue
- Future-state architecture across applications, information and infrastructure
- Cost analysis for software licensing, hardware and hosting
- A 2013 - 2014 Delivery Roadmap, broken into 6 month increments

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

- Enterprise architecture

- Application architecture
- Cloud hosting/managed data centers
- IT security
- IT costing

PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE:

- Web content management
- Microsoft technologies (CRM, Sharepoint)
- Financial applications such as Accpac
