Enterprise Architect Development Lifecycle SAP IBM Microsoft CLOUD TOGAF ITIL (Netherlands)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Enterprise Architect is part of the clients Account Architecture team and will report to the Account CTO. The EA will focus on enterprise-wide, strategic architecture to support with business development and enhance customer relationships. The EA aligns the client's business strategy with the portfolio (road map) of our customer. The EA supports the team in the development and roll-out of the client's Enterprise Architecture, especially in the areas of future cloud developments, digitalization, integration topics and business applications. Together with other parties in the client's system (SAP, IBM, Microsoft,..) and the team, the EA needs to be able to recognize business patterns and support the client's EA's to incorporate them in the Enterprise Architecture strategy. The EA must understand business and be able to deep dive into IT Infrastructure/Cloud related issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

- Joint ownership of the enterprise architecture development life cycle for the client;
- As Enterprise Architect you may be responsible for leading one or more architecture development assignments for the client; 
- Working closely with the, the client (business and EA's) and often alongside staff from other suppliers you will be fully competent in your own area and act as a key contributor in a complex and critical environment; 
- The EA may be required to co-ordinate the activities of others (internal staff, client staff, subcontractors, associates and staff from collaborating and/or competing suppliers) and will be expected to manage the client's stakeholder expectations and requirements; 
- Understanding and presenting the immediate/tactical and strategic benefits of adopting a consistent architectural approach within the context of the client's business to help the client justify his investments; 
- Assessing the requirements and presenting architectural recommendations that are in line with the our customers strategic vision for the client and wider best practice; 
- Ensuring that the various views comprising and enterprise architecture are consistent and coherent, at an appropriate level of detail and that changes are controlled as to maintain consistency for the client; 
- Serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods and tools. 
- The Enterprise Architect will have to talk to both the client and IT Eco System partners EA's and business managers;

DESIRED SKILLS: 

- Broad level of knowledge across enterprise (SAP) ICT technologies
- 10 years ICT experience (additional years of business experience is a plus) 
- Ideally will have depth of experience in one or more specialist enterprise technologies 
- Broad knowledge about Cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), Workplace Services and Hosting Services 
- Applies knowledge and skills to deal with complex problems, extending and coordinating work that may extend beyond own area of knowledge and expertise. Will readily share and acquire knowledge and expertise with colleges and other departments 
- Can anticipate client EA team's needs, investigating short and long term solutions to the EA strategy 
- Can anticipate internal and external business influences and uses knowledge and skill to focus work and drive EA improvements 
- Commercially aware, managing costs on own projects and across team and very large projects 
- Generates new and innovative solutions to problems. 
- Is able to plan work activities over medium and long term to support strategic activities and initiatives 
- Is able to present complex ideas, concepts and technical solutions to high level non technical audiences. 
- Is able to anticipate potential objections and prepares case accordingly. 
- Is able to influence others both internally as at the client
- Creates formal networks internally and externally 
- Recent experience in customer facing Enterprise architecture 
- ITIL certified is a pre 
- Architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent) is a pre 
- Ideally educated to degree level
