ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT JOB DESCRIPTION

CORE SKILLS:

- Extensive knowledge of business strategy and the IT realm
- Ability to align information technology, people and processes with the specific business strategies of the customer organization.
- Conceptualize, articulate and implement large enterprise transformation initiatives in global financial institutions in NL
- Work directly with executives as well as technical staff on the floor and able to delve into nitty-gritty technology issues
- Knowledge of Dutch financial domain including insurance, mortgage and banking sectors.
- Familiar with core business processes around customer, intermediaries, corporates
- Familiar Regulatory and Compliance requirements of Dutch financial sector
- Familiar with various standards and models such as AFD etc.
- Exposure to multiple types of IT implementations in Holland including homegrown and package implementations
- Familiar with various package products and solution frameworks in Dutch IT industry in financial sector
- Hands-on with Archimate 2.0
- Practicing experience of EA frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman and others (Certification is preferable)
- Deep solution architecture experience in three or more core technology areas such as Web 2.0, SOA/Integration, BPM, Mobility, Customer Experience Management, Content Management, Big Data (DWH and BI) and cutting edge areas such as Cloud, Social Media, Analytics etc.

ROLE:

STRATEGIC CONSULTING

- Provide solutions for customer business problems and define implementable solutions to realize customer business strategies
- Work closely with customer CIO office to drive the strategic and transformation initiatives
- Architecture Definition, Architecture Review & Assessments
- Strategic decisions such as tradeoff between NFRs, Build vs. buy, architecture roadmap (timing of architecture investments) and ensuring a platform that can adopt to changes in Business
- Contribute for IPs/Tools/Technology Frameworks, Technology primers, Thought leadership articles, Point of view docs, Industry contribution, Reusable artifacts
- Large Deals Support, RFI/RFP Response, Customer Visit Presentations, Due Diligence
