Enterprise Architect - Data Management Applications (m/w)

SOLUTION/ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT - DATA MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS (M/F)

For our client, one of the biggest European intergovernmental organisations, we are searching for a Senior Consultant/Solution Architect with focus on

TASKS:

- Structure & complete business demand from an architecture perspective, and translate the demand into a viable, feasible, durable, and compliant solution architecture that can be delivered to budget, on time and to the required quality.
- Responsible for the production of the Solution Architecture Document for the project.
- Give advice and support to internal solution architects having less experience in the function.
- Design, and occasionally support coding, test, correct and document customisations and developments.
- Perform Architecture reviews to verify that the solution
- Interface with the Design Authority and Enterprise Architecture directorate in the context of roadmaps for architectural changes and capability platform strategies.
- Determine the potential impact of industry and market trends in the respective area, and make recommendations for changes and improvements.
- Develop Proofs of Concept as proposals to answer Architecture concerns.
- Manage technical design issues and key decisions escalated during project execution
- Take ownership of required architecture governance deliverables and deliver results against respective timelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- University Degree in Computer science or similar
- Knowledge in Enterprise Architecture frameworks and standards ESPECIALLY: TOGAF, ZACHMAN, SPARX ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT
- EXCELLENT SKILLS IN DATA MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS AND DATA TRANSFORMATION.
- Experience in designing and formalizing logical and physical solution architectures and guide the implementation
- STRONG EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF ROADMAPS FOR ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES AND CAPABILITY PLATFORM STRATEGIES
- Very good knowledge and experience with Design Patterns and Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience in modern development methodologies (TDD, Continuous Integration, code reviews)
- Experience in Data Management with emphasis on general design (IBM Mainframe,J2EE, jBoss, Windows technology).
- Knowledge about security standards
- Excellent skills in verbal and written English

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE:

- SQL with DB2, MSSQL & NoSQL, MongoDB
- XML technologies with Java
