Enterprise Architect/TOGAF/ Microsoft Active Directory/ Computing services, networks and platforms/virtualisation

1.Detailed experience and knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services design, migration, coexistence, and consolidation in large and diverse ICT estates

2.Detailed experience and knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions, including:

a.Identity management
b.Identity synchronisation and provisioning between directories and business applications
c.Identity federation
d.Master directory management

3.Broad ICT Infrastructure knowledge including End User Computing services, networks and platforms/virtualisation

4.Be able to call upon the knowledge outlined in 1-3 above to be part of a Systems Integration team governing and assuring FITS supplier's solutions.

5.Ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, across the different organisations delivering FITS, at all levels up to the leadership team, and be able to pitch a concept/message at the appropriate level for the audience concerned.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Provide architectural support to all areas of the Programme, including both procurement and delivery functions, with a particular focus of ensuring the solutions proposed or delivered support the service requirements.

Provision of market and bidder engagement support.  This could be in the form of supporting or partaking in negotiations, workshops, market engagement sessions, or other forums involving the client and their suppliers/bidders.

Supporting the procurement of services through the evaluation of bids from a Service Design, Solution, Transformation, and Transition perspective.

Development and assurance of conceptual, logical and physical architectural products to inform the architecture and strategy for the Programme.

-Architecture Views
-Position papers
-Diagrams & Architecture Models
-Presentations
-High Level Transition Solutions

Making an active contribution to the governance of the procurement's and delivery through various forums and processes. 

These typically may include:

-Change Management
-Service requirements/dependency management forums
-Risk and Issue Management

Engagement with other major programmes across the company, understanding the intercept between the client and other initiatives, representing and explaining to all levels of stakeholders, and making recommendations to ensure best value from any investments made by the client.

Ensure that appropriate standards and policies (industry, cross-Government, Cross-CJS, Ministry-wide) are adhered to. Manage the architectural aspects of the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to achieve stable, viable designs, and ensuring consistency of design across the company within the rest of the clients Architecture.

Outputs/Deliverables to be achieved

Specific deliverables will be defined and regularly reviewed via a separate work package definition.

Skills/Experience Required

Enterprise Architecture experience within large organisations (tens of thousands of users/hundreds to thousands of business applications) and complex estates (multiple business units with differing models/hundreds to thousands of physical locations).

Comprehensive knowledge of Architecture processes and their interaction with wider ICT Service Management (eg TOGAF, ITIL).

Commercial experience of large scale IT service outsourcing.

Able to work across mixed and disparate teams and groups.

Able to work with all levels within an organisation: from providing expert guidance, opinion, and recommendation to senior stakeholders within the programme, to working with front-line staff in the business to understand how they exploit technology.

Able to manage self to deliver the required outcomes to support the objectives.

Detailed technical experience and knowledge of ICT application and infrastructure technologies integral to a large and distributed ICT estate.

Formal Qualifications Required

TOGAF/ITIL/Archimate certification (optional)
