Enterprise Architect/Cisco Nexus

My client a leading and well established organisation within their field is looking for a Highly Motivated Security ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT who will take ownership of the client's technology strategy, playing a pivotal role in driving forward new technology objectives in an exciting 2 year project.

A crucial part of this role will be to define and maintain an Enterprise Architecture roadmap aligned to the business and IT strategy. You will be enthusiastic, ambitious maybe coming from a retail, start up, or digital background. Having an exposure to innovative and scaling approaches to architecture is key to this role. Ideally you will have TOGAF or other architecture qualifications

Key responsibilities:-

Ensuring current and future business capabilities are accounted for in the Enterprise Architecture; including the technology capabilities across infrastructure, application and business functions gaining approval from key stakeholders

Advocating the IT Strategy to establish the Enterprise Architecture both internally and externally to further promote the business

Defining and maintaining an agreed view of the target architecture, roadmap and transition states to support the technology strategy. Ensuring all technology decisions meet the key guiding principles

Providing High level architecture design, solution and governance of the application architecture while supporting the design authority to architect end-to-end solutions at a high level

Identifying ways to leverage strategic partner relationships while building key influencing relationships and support

Driving delivery, innovation and supporting 'enabling' projects and initiatives

Ensuring industry best practice and Identifying innovative opportunities in terms of existing and emergent technologies, promoting identified technology opportunities to key stakeholders

The ideal candidate will be technically competent and be able to demonstrate hands on skills if needed.
