DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
As an Enterprise Architect, you will support the business application development teams by
- Solving business challenges with an Enterprise Architecture solution
o Understand the business requirements and strategy
o Create technical diagrams
o Agree with project managers on proposed solution, taking into account the existing Reference Architecture, cost and feasibility
Talking technical and business language
o Strong communication and collaboration with application project teams and
external vendors
o Drive consensus across different IT departments
You are able to handle several projects in parallel, where your main responsibility is
- To understand the Detailed User Requirements (Use Cases)
- Draw solution architecture diagrams, driven by business needs
- Reach consensus on the proposed solution within EA and IT Development teams
- Follow up on implementation and occasional code quality checks
- Explain technology direction to a technical audience
- Explain complex issues to a non-technical audience and executives
- Deliver within agreed timelines
KEY COMPETENCIES
Follow up on cutting edge software with practical experience on
o Cloud based solutions (SAAS/PAAS)
o Azure and Amazon Cloud technologies
o Identity Management Solutions, Authentication/Authorization
o Heroku, Kafka, Event Driven Architecture
- Agile Scrum experience
- Focusing on Resource Oriented Architecture (research, evaluation and POC)
- Software development experience with excellent knowledge in
o Web Tiers (Apache/Jetty/IIS/Javascript frameworks/HTML5)
o Java
o Service Tiers (Spring/Hibernate)
o Data Tiers (JPA/JDBC/ODBC)
o Database solutions (RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2)/MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
o Middleware (Camel, ActiveMQ, CXF)
o Enterprise Integration Patterns
o RESTful web services/JSON/JMS
o Development tooling (Maven, SVN, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo )
- Fluent in English, stress resistant and team player
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Enterprise Architecture for at least 5 years
