Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect being sought for global organisation.

You will support the business application development teams by:
- Solving business challenges with an Enterprise Architecture solution
- Understand the business requirements and strategy
- Create technical (hybrid) diagrams
- Agree with project managers on proposed solution, taking into account the existing Reference Architecture, cost and feasibility
- Talking technical and business language
- Strong communication and collaboration with application project teams and external vendors
- Drive consensus across different IT departments

You are able to handle several projects in parallel, where your main responsibility is:
- To understand the Detailed User Requirements (Use Cases)
- Draw solution architecture diagrams, driven by business needs
- Reach consensus on the proposed solution within EA and IT Development teams
- Support Data Modelers (Conceptual-Logical-Physical Data Modeling)
- Follow up on implementation and occasional code quality checks
- Explain technology direction to a technical audience
- Explain complex issues to a non-technical audience and executives
- Deliver within agreed timelines

Skills Required:
- Follow up on cutting edge software
- Focusing on Resource Oriented Architecture (research, evaluation and POC)
- Software development experience with excellent knowledge in:

o Web Tiers (Apache/Jetty/IIS/Javascript frameworks/HTML5)
o Java o Service Tiers (Spring/Hibernate)
o Data Tiers (JPA/JDBC/ODBC)
o Database solutions (RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2)/MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
o Linux/Windows OS/VMware o Middleware (Camel, ActiveMQ, CXF)
o Enterprise Integration Patterns o RESTful web services/JSON/JMS
o Amazon Ecosystem, Azure, Heroku
o Development tooling (Maven, SVN, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo )
