Enterprise Architect

You will be expected to contribute to the architecture and design of a major new IT system in the organisation.

This role will provide the link between the program and the supplier. You will be required to provide technical advice to program and project managers and requirements, dependencies and risks.

Experience with SDLC of systems and the ability to drive integration efforts will be well regarded.

DUTIES

- Contribute to the Solution Architecture and Design of the new system;
- Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture (in particular the Enterprise Data Model);
- Contribute to the integration of the new system with other systems;
- Assist and liaise closely with the PM on the technical aspects in delivering the IIIM solution;
- Work closely with PM, ICT and vendors to ensure the required changes in infrastructure and software are met during the implementation process;
- Monitor and report on technical risks to the project;
- Perform project assurance to validate that solution architecture aligns with the enterprise architecture;
- Assess and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of solutions; and
- Contributes to ICT policies, standards and guidelines
- Work effectively in a small team environment;
- Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and
- Record and maintain files/information in accordance with the organisation's requirements.

SKILLS

- Enterprise Architecture experience (TOGAF experience an advantage);
- Proven integration architecture and design experience;
- Previous direct experience in system integration projects;
- An excellent understanding of technologies requiring integration (.NET, BizTalk, Web Services);
- Knowledge of common IT methodologies and frameworks, integration best practices, common patterns including database, web services and integration patterns.

Due to the internal vetting processes of this organisation, you can expect a start date no earlier than November.
