Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect - London - upto £95k + benefits

Progressive is currently seeking a senior Enterprise Architect with a breadth and depth of experience in large scale data warehouse and BI implementations.

Do you have an extensive background of designing, building and implementing multi-terabyte data warehouses and BI architectures?

Are you well-versed in related domain experience such as designs and patterns, tools and technologies for data modelling, Data Warehousing Data Acquisition, data movement and business intelligence?

Ideally, you will also have experience of cloud-based infrastructures and implementation patterns for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.

You will be working with other teams of Enterprise Architects in a fantastic global organisation, you will have responsibility for this company's global technical strategy ensuring this aligns to the strategic needs of the business lines and delivered according to well defined best practices.

Candidate requirements:

* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Professional Architectural Certification (TOGAF, Zachman or similar)
* Minimum of 7 years IT experience at a senior developer or project leader level.
* Expertise with design patterns for VLDB with heavy use of ETL tools and multiple sources of data.
* Demonstrable Governance/Technical Design Authority experience.
* Very strong logical and physical data modelling skills.
* Expertise with relational technologies: specifically Oracle and SQL Server.
* Experience with one or more data movement and data integration technologies such as Ab Initio, Informatica, Data Stage, etc.
