English Teaching Assistant is required for a large community secondary school in Sandwell.

Are you a TOP English Graduate or a graduate with English at A level looking for a role as Teaching Assistant prior to your PGCE or TDS?

Would you like to work within a school which is not only high achieving but known for their well disciplined pupils?

This thriving and vibrant community school is currently seeking a high achieving English Graduate to take up the role as a Teaching Assistant. The Head of English is looking for a Teaching Assistant with drive, an excellent work ethic and an in-depth passion for English. This is perfect pre-PGCE experience and all facilities and resources will be open for an individual wanting to get the most out this experience. Do you pride yourself on going above and beyond your call of duty?

The school have an excellent reputation for their well behaved pupils and relationships between staff and pupils. The pupils eagerness to learn has also been recognised as exemplary and the school is heavily over subscribes in the majority on year groups.

The English department is well resourced and managed by an excellent Head of English. The department has graded as outstanding. The pupils achieve well and pupils who are underachieving receive support instantly.

The ideal candidate will can have previous experience but it is not essential, all candidates must have a good work ethic, drive and ability to build and maintain good relationships with staff and pupils alike. You will work with groups and on a one to one basis, so you will possess confidence and excellent subject knowledge to instil confidence in the learners.
