The successful English Teachers will be able to teach English up to KS4 or KS5. They will be working with mixed ability classes as well as high achievers, therefore the teacher will need to have excellent subject knowledge and be able to demonstrate a high standard of teaching practice within the curriculum. It is key to build good relationships with the pupils to achieve positive results.

To be considered for the position of the English Teacher position you must:

*You must be a qualified secondary school teacher with QTS

*An extensive subject knowledge of English up to Key Stage 4 or 5

*Be able to work independently or as part of a team

*An engaging teacher that inspires pupils to achieve high levels of attainment

*Happy to ensure that marking is completed at the end of the day and the classroom in left tidy

*Able to support the school learning policies and ethos, and become an active member of the teaching community
