ENGLISH SPEAKING FINANCIAL ANALYST WITH MEDICAL DEVICE EXPERIENCE
Dear Financial Analyst
My pharmaceutical client based in Zuchwil, Switzerland is looking for a Financial Analyst WITH MEDICAL DEVICE experience to join them in a project UNTIL THE END OF 2019.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of a team with two other people, responsible for responsible for the consolidation and preparation of Reporting, Forecasting, Analysis and other areas within the team`s responsibility area (MDR=Medical Device Regulation, RnD and GSM = Global strategic Marketing/
Upstream Marketing). You and your time will provide accurate, timely and meaningful financial analysis to influence business decisions
Further details on your responsibilities:
- Provides planning support and financial expertise for business decisions and performs ad-hoc complex analyses to support business partners on special projects as assigned
- Responsible for completing all Month End close requirements Medical Device Regulatory (Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, Budget vs Actual Analysis, Corporate Reporting, Headcount, etc.) and ensures monthly closings are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Reviews, maintains and improves financial models for MDR
- Works closely with the Tax team to ensure compliance within the Tax regulations and guidelines for both OUS (Outside US) and US
- Supports supervisor with highly complex research and analysis
- Prepares ad-hoc analyses and presentations as needed
- Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all local government and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance
- Participates in implementing continuous improvement, simplification, streamlining and standardization
Requirements for this role:
- BA or equivalent in accounting or finance; and related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of more advanced accounting/financial concepts, practices and techniques.
- Knowledge of PC's and associated software and relational database packages.
- Good written and oral English communication skills
- IMPORTANT NOTE: SAP FI/CO and Ariba knowledge are very important as well as Expert-level experience with month end and quarterly closings.
