English Speaking Desktop Support Engineer is required for a 3 Month Contract based in Geneva, Switzerland with one of our international clients.
They are looking for someone who fits the following profile:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide telephone and Desk-side support to corporate PC- Based Users and Applications. Includes imaging and spares management for the laptop and desktop environment
- Prioritize incoming service requests. Manage problems to resolution and update call-ticketing system
- Utilize SCCM to remote manage PC's, deploy software, report on assets and report on advertisement status
- Involvement in project work (configuration, service delivery and analysis)
- Aid in the resolution of tickets escalated from the End Users
- Manage the deployment of applications through SCCM
SKILLS
- Windows Operating systems XP and Windows 7 Expertise
- System Center Configuration Manager experience
- Application Package creation experience
- Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 expertise
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Domains
- Knowledge of Citrix infrastructure components and Clients for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft exchange/Outlook configurations for troubleshooting
- In Depth Knowledge of network components and protocols for troubleshooting
- Analytic/Problem solving Skills
- Excellent problem determinations and troubleshooting skills
- Customer Service Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Good Oral Communication
