Engineering Trainer/Lecturer

ECS Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Toolmaking (Milling, Fitting and Turning) Trainer/Lecturer to join one of our private academies in Dagenham with immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our European training partners at a time of growth and expansion. This will involve training and lecturing students on-site at the Academy.

* This role is due to start ASAP - One month contact - Up to £140 per day*

Essential Criteria;

- Appropriate industry experience (Toolmaking/Milling/Fitting/Turning)
- Ideally hold a teaching or coaching qualification (PTLLS, Cert.ED, 7307 etc.)
- Experienced delivering, assessing or coaching in a classroom or Client Site environment

Responsibilities;

- Deliver and train the Engineering curriculum on site in both a classroom and workshop environment at level 2 and 3 in-line with City & Guilds standards
- Gather evidence, assess progress, observe work practices and update learner records when applicable
- Complete reviews for each learner in accordance with current procedures
- Provide 1-2-1 learner support when required
- Assist in the development of schemes of work, training materials and trainee assignments
- Act as a tutor to learners, providing academic guidance and support.
