Engineering Technician Job

ENGINEERING TECHNICIANS needed for a CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in PARSIPPANY, NJ.

- Ability to manage multiple databases and engineering education

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The main function for this position will be managing multiple database. This person will be cleaning up the database, making it streamlined from one to the next and may be asked to create a whole new database system.
- The Hiring Manager is looking for someone who is computer literate (especially with Microsoft Excel and Word). Intermediate to advance knowledge with Microsoft office suites.
- Responsible for working as part of the cell team to improve customer service, reduce scrap, reduce lead time, improve product flow, reduce product cost and provide smooth new product implementation
- Technicians MAY have responsibilities for some or all of the following: Metrics charting, budget analysis, Router maintenance, CNC programming, integration of new process technologies, time studies, presentation preparation, process print development review, facilitating cell layout documentation, process improvement, project management, ensuring compliance with OCP's and GMP's, developing quality plans, SPC and working with QA

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A recent degree in an engineering discipline (preferably industrial or biomedical), with some work experience/project experience.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn new software
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with teams
- Experience in production and operations
