Engineering Technician Job

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN needed for a one year contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Trexlertown, PA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing required information categories through interface with engineering, maintenance, and operating staffs to anticipate future stakeholder needs.
- Collecting and cataloguing information required to complete category inventory through document and database review or individual interface with key data providers/engineers.
- Building and maintaining information and reference document systems to support GSS and HTMEC activities.
- Interfacing with the GSS and HTMEC share site owners to collaborate on preferred methods to capture and retrieve information for future use.
- Travel to domestic operating plant site is required. The amount of travel is anticipated to be 10-20%.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Associates Degree in a technical/scientific field or military experience in a technical/mechanical role.
- Mechanical aptitude and inclination
- Good computer skill especially in the use of Excel and document management systems
- An interest in collecting information and in the development of systems to be used to access historical information.
- Ability to see relationships in information and data and how it fits to expand our knowledge base.
- Experience in interacting with a wide range of industry professionals including engineers, operators, maintenance technicians, and IT specialists.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Experience in field inspection, maintenance, operation, or construction in an industrial capacity is desired.
- Self Motivation/Initiative
