Engineering Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN to join our client in Ankeny, IA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This is an opportunity for an individual that can work under the direction of scientists and engineers with the independence expected to complete tasks assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new research.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A successful applicant must have excellent electrical, mechanical, and computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to program or be familiar with languages for troubleshooting electronic PLC's and controllers.
- Demonstrated design and fabrication skills.
- Experience with Solid Works desired
- Proficiency with hand tools, non CNC mill and lath

- Person should have experience with lab equip with the ability to conceptualize designs to deliver new research equip.

- Ability to self-start and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems also desired
