Engineering - Scheduler

Yoh has a contract opportunity for ENGINEERING - SCHEDULER to join our client in Charlotte, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This position is responsible for working with engineering management to ensure engineering resources are assigned to meet project needs, that engineering resources are level-loaded within assigned resource groups, and that once projects are underway, the monitoring and reporting to Project Controls of the progress toward meeting project schedules for engineers in the assigned resource groups.
- The scope of this position covers the initiation phase through End of Design phase and involves close working relationships with Engineering and Project Controls Analysts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Six to nine (6 - 9) years of Primavera 6 experience; experience within Engineering field.
- Related 4 year college degree or proven work experience.
- Must have scheduled project resources at a detailed level and maintained project schedules through the duration of the project life.
- We are seeking experienced project schedulers or project controls specialists/analysts.
- Transmission experience is preferred, including Civil or substation engineering. This is an assistant to the Resource and Project Controls Managers.
- LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH BOTH SCHEDULING AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS SKILLS.
- CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PRIMAVERA EXPERIENCE. TRANSMISSION EXPERIENCE IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
