OutSource UK is currently recruiting for an Engineering Proposal Lead for an initial 6 month contract based in Rochester.

Working with our leading Defence client you will be responsible for executing bid and proposal activities, supporting the capture manager with the Request for Bid Approval (RBA) process as required. You will focus on consistent application of the bid process, across all product areas.

Key Skills
* Experience in engineering development/delivery
* Avionics product experience.

Experience in 1 or more of the following is highly advantageous; Flight Control, Displays, Helmets, Mission Computing or Power and Energy Management.

The successful candidate will also need to be able to see the 'big picture', taking a view across the whole technical solution with an understanding of expected costs such that challenges can be made early in the estimate generation process.

This is an exciting role for the right candidate, providing the opportunity to shape the New Business group, the technical solutions and execution strategies.

Candidates will need to have current SC Clearance or be able to apply for Security Clearance.
This role is commutable from Rochester, Kent, Chatham, Gillingham.
