Engineering Officer - Avionics

This is a job opportunity within Government for a 6 month + contract.

You duties will include assisting management in ensuring that the hazards to health and safety inherent in the aircraft, its associated support equipment, maintenance activities, procedures and facilities are correctly identified, minimised and adequately highlighted, as far as is reasonably practicable.

Managing and controlling the following activities for avionics and electrical systems: Fault investigations (MF760/MF760A) and the maintenance of associated registers. Registers of Special Instructions (Technical) (SI(T), namely UTIs and RTIs. Tasking registers of advisory agencies eg FS(RW) and FS(Air) MIG. Service Modification (SM) register. Unsatisfactory Feature Reports (UFR) (MF765/MF765Xs) and the maintenance of associated registers. Updating the Airworthiness Management Database (AMDB) as required. Day to day management of mechanical STTGSE, Day to day management of avionics and electrical aspects of technical publications.

Ideally you will be from a rotary wing background, can use relevant IT systems such as Moss, Resolve; understand the processes used in a project environment, can fill out flight safety reports, fault reports, can use relevant MAP's such as 765, 762's; previous LOA.
