Engineering Lecturer (Milling, Fitting, Turning)

ECS Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Engineering Trainer Lecturer to be based in Romford - Essex

This role will involve working with one of our Security Cleared Training Academies based in Essex. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be part of the business at a time of growth an expansion.

This position would suit an experienced Engineering Lecturer/Trainer who can deliver principles of Milling, Fitting and Turning.

* This will be an on-going requirement with a flexible nature.*

Up to £27.00 p/h starting salary + Training/Development

Essential Criteria

- Experienced delivering Milling, Fitting and Turning principles
- Some experience delivering or teaching Auto CAD topics
- Hold a teaching qualification (ie PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or similar) (Training can be provided)
- Hold an Assessors award (Training can be provided)

Responsibilities

- Support and tutor students on-site who are currently undertaking apprenticeships in Engineering Operations at level 2 and 3
- Support Auto CAD topics and principles on a ad-hoc basis
- Provide any additional and on-going to support to students when required
- Provide candidates with individual feedback and actions as specified in the assessment plan and Individual Learner portfolios
- Ensure all portfolio's are submitted for IQA check in a timely manner
- Assist in the development of schemes of work, training materials and trainee assignments
- Act as a tutor to learners, providing academic guidance and support.
- Be flexible to undertake additional training and development
