Engineering III

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ENGINEER III to join our client in West Point, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The investigator will be responsible for investigation of manufacturing deviation events in a GMP vaccine manufacturing facility.
- Tasks include, but are not limited to, initial response and troubleshooting, root cause analysis, product quality and compliance impact assessments, development of corrective and preventative actions, documentation of technical and investigation reports, and use of SAP and other database applications.
- The investigator will work as part of a collaborative team, and must routinely partner with Quality, Operations, and other functional support groups to complete tasks.
- The Investigator must independently manage and track multiple investigations and tasks simultaneously, communicate with regular status updates to the area lead, and escalate delays or issues in a timely manner.
- The investigator must be able to work with minimal supervision.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills - LSS or Sigma qualifications are preferred.
- Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work as both part of a collaborative team and independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational/task management skills.
- Ability to work in a GMP vaccine manufacturing facility.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; SAP experience is preferred.
