Engineering/Field Technician

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN to join our client in Mason, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering technical assistance in the development of Broadcast TV and Radio transmitters.
- Engineering Technician will be responsible for various aspects of a Broadcast Transmitter design from early design concepts through production unit test, verification and documentation.
- Hands on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of breadboard circuits, printed wiring assemblies (PWA), subassemblies and complete transmitter systems.
- Troubleshooting systems and performing various verification tests required for transmitters.

Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree/Technical School.
- Two (2) plus years working with Analog and Digital Electrical circuits.
- Proficiency with various forms of test equipment.
- Theoretical background and overall understanding of electrical circuits as related to RF amplification, control Systems and Power Supplies.
- Knowledgeable of modulation techniques such as AM/FM as well as Digital modulations.
- Spectrum Analyzers, Audio Analyzers, Oscilloscopes and Meters are required.
- Must have the ability to set up and measure specific transmitter functions such as RF Power, audio performance AC/DC power and RF emissions.
