Engineering Export Classified Specialist Job

An ENGINEERING EXPORT CLASSIFIED SPECIALIST is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Danbury, CT.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Candidate will be responsible for reviewing existing part numbers in design systems and determining export classifications for those parts, specifically HTS codes.
- Training will be provided for HTS classification; however, candidate is expected to review design material and justify classification determinations.
- Candidates should eventually be able to classify a given part at a rate of 3 per hour or better.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma
- Five (5) years of experience in Engineering department, preferably, Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings, Designs, and Bills of Materials
- Familiarity with metals and other materials

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in Aerospace and Defense or Electro-Optical industry.
- MS Office - Excel preferred
