Engineering Drafter Job

ENGINEERING DRAFTER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Plainfield, IN.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S PLAINFIELD, IN LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- AutoCAD
- Plotting drawings
- Two (2) year Tech Degree minimum

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position will be responsible for creating transmission line standards drawings and documents, as well as design/construction drawings, as directed by engineers.
- The duties would be primarily drafting based on engineering direction.
- They might also be asked to help assemble work order packages and other administrative functions as needed.
- Candidate could potentially help order material as well.
- This is a newer position that may have additional responsibilities as the job progresses but the primary function would be the drafting of standards drawings as directed by an engineer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Person must be experienced in using AutoCAD and plotting drawings.
- Must also be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Candidate should have a two (2) year Technical degree.
