Engineering Data Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ENGINEERING DATA TECHNICIAN to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engineering data technician position supports the capital and engineering planning for the business.
- The person is responsible for the data integrity and ensuring all capital expenditures flow properly.
- Person creates and maintains advanced excel reports and other capital reports for the business and is responsible for database maintenance.
- Person plays key role in updating corporate systems and giving business view.
- This position also provides SAP support and resource for other SAP users.
- Position interfaces with project engineering professionals.
- Reconcile internal company databases with each other on a monthly basis and report out financial information to business.
- Validate data and project information across multiple systems.
- Working with financial systems and troubleshoot inconsistencies.
- Train individuals on how to use project systems and utilize key business excel reports.
- Coordinate monthly update process.
- Create and maintain advanced excel reports and other capital reports for the business.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

- Required to have advanced skill in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP.
- Required to have experience making pivot tables, analysing data and placing the data in a clear format.
- If-then statements (IF, SUMIF), Conditional formatting, SUBTOTAL.
- Preferred experience in Microsoft SharePoint, but candidate will receive training as required.
- Education - Minimum of a high school degree.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
