Engineering Checker

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

- Assign Procurement Categorization Codes (PC Codes) to customer part numbers.
- Retrieve attributes from blue prints and align them to the appropriate PC Code on the taxonomy tree.

- Effective written/oral communication skills.
- Detailed understanding of the Global Procurement Categorization Code (PC Codes).
- Ability to read prints for the following areas:
- Fabrications
- Engine Components
- Springs
- Fasteners
- Fluid Conveyance
- Hardware
- Filters
- Wheel Groups
- Power Transmission
- Gears, Splined Shafts and Planet Carriers
- Heat Transfer
- Aftertreatment
- Moving Undercarriage
- Castings
- Forgings
- Non-Metallic
- Operator Compartment
- Electrical and Electronics

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience in/general knowledge of engineering, planning, and/or materials operations and their related data processing systems.
- Experience with the following systems: HVC, EPix, TeamCenter, REDI, Microsoft Excel. Excel skills should include VLookups and Pivot Tables.
- Customer experience is a plus.
