Engineer (m/f) in the field of Thermal Simulation

For our client we are looking for an Engineer (m/f) in the field of Thermal Simulation for use in the field of Research & Development of Diode & Nonlinear Optics

Location: Greater Munich

Start Date: Immediate

Length: 12 Months (Permanent employment through Harvey Nash plus option of take-over. Freelancers also welcome to apply)

Tasks:

" Challenging activity in optics development of complex laser systems

" Construction of complex electronic, mechanical and optical OEM subsystems

" Construction of reinforced diode lasers and/or frequency-doubled systems

" Independent coordination of development processes for assigned development projects

" Responsibility for product management and market-oriented further development of existing products

Your skills:

" A University degree in Physics or Engineering (Analog / Digital electronics preferred)

" Experience with LabView or SolidWorks software

" Experience with optical semiconductors, semiconductor optical amplifiers, spectrally-stabilized diode lasers or frequency doubled diode lasers

" Experience with thermal simulation

" Experience with thermal management subsystems

" Experience with merging technology under extreme environmental conditions: 0-70 C

"Good written and spoken English knowledge
