Our client operates a special technical group on the construction of new fiber connections within the company known as Very High Rate (VHR) guides.
The position is in the engineering team for this high-bandwidth lines. It's about about 2000 new connections per year, in the hands of a technical team of over 10 people.
The VHR Engineer you will be responsible for documenting of transmission equipment in databases, the design of very high rate connectivity for customers, both fiber and via microwave, routing these lines in these databases, creating work orders and executive services directing.
The successful candidate will have responsibility to place the order, using the appropriate budgets and to ensure that this material timely and accurate pickup area's delivered. Respecting the planning and the right communication around it is an essential part of the job. You will also be responsible for starting the demolition process lines and equipment that are no longer in use and the contact for the executive services.
As a VHR Engineer you will be responsible for achieving the objectives in the BHD domain (projects yield, quality of work, deadlines, respect the agreements, ....) and this by applying a strict organization and perfect cooperation with colleagues of the team.
Required profile:
Technical competencies:
* The requested contractor should be able, after an internal program that will last several weeks, the above commands under supervision and coaching.
We expect following skills:
* Reading technical plans, surveys, work orders, process documents, use of computer
* In touch with technology and transmission, through studies or interest (graduate is recommended)
* Quick learning technique
Other competencies:
* Working in a team, customer focus, communication, precise, rapid and full implementation of orders received
* Communication is one of your strengths, structured consultation by mail, at meetings and via telephone control your strong
* You are looking for solutions and you work in a way that permanently aimed at improvement.
* Good knowledge of the other language is required.
* You are a good user of the standard MS packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, ...).
* Technical background with respect to fiber and microwave is a plus
