Engineer - Medical Device Job

SENIOR ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Lead teams in the risk management of drug delivery devices.
- The qualified candidate will lead technical teams to ensure timely and in depth risk assessment, identification of mitigation and evaluation of all Amgen's combination medical devices' risks and hazards.
- The Senior Engineer will work closely within a cross-functional organization to utilize technologies and methodologies that support short-cycle robust device risk management systems.
- Work cross-functionally with individuals and project teams in Device Quality, Systems and Device Engineering and Program Management
- Create Risk Management Plans, Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments reports
- Execute to project plans and schedules
- Review design documents, system and labeling requirement specifications, development plans, verification and validation test results and other related product development documents for assigned projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Engineering or related field and up to 10 years of experience in a medical device industry
- Experience with engineering processes and procedures
- Familiar with Quality System Regulation, Risk Management ISO 14971
- Strong problem solving and facilitation of technical meetings

MUST BE CAPABLE OF WORKING ON MULTIPLE PROJECTS IN A DEADLINE DRIVEN ENVIRONMENT
