Engineer Integration, IOT, Test & Support

CONTEXT Client is developing smartphone software to be used in the LTE/4G telecom domain for handling eMBMS broadcast reception of live TV and file download. This software is two component a network side BM-SC server, and a terminal side software called eMBMS Middleware, as it is located between 4G/LTE chipset modem and terminal application.

Client is working with infrastructure vendors and terminal manufacturer for the benefits of service operator workdwide.

Typical projects are to perform:
- Server Interoperability Test (IOT server) for performing testing of BM-SC integrated at network side with eMBMS Gateway and Content provisioning system,
- Terminal Operability Test (IOT device ) with terminal partner for certification of devices integrated with Middleware.
- Support and maintenance for Infrastructure vendors or device manufacturer on accepted software used into trials or deployment

Within the Operations department, Client is looking for a technical person in charge of test, IOTs and technical support to Client customers in Asia.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Supporting Client customers or partners integrating Client eMBMS Middleware in their terminal solution or server solution their network solution.
- For Middleware, collect reference captures at modem side and logs for analysis of issues.
- For BM-SC server, collect reference captures at Server Side and logs for analysis of issues.
- Performing InterOperability Tests (IOT), or acceptance test (server of Middleware) at customer site with terminal.
- Delivery of test reports about IOT and acceptance tests or integration work.
- Daily reports when IOT or support at customer site or any mission abroad.
- Weekly written report of activity with detail of activity load and purpose.
- Participation to internal bugs review with support and maintenance manager or project manager.

Competences and technical skills

- Fluent English required.
- Mobility for current travelling in Asia (India, Indonesia, china, Korea, Japan ).
- Telecom background in Mobile domain/terminal and network testing
- Good relationship for customer interface.
- Ability of technical analysis, reactivity.
- Autonomy and strictness
- Tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, protocol knowledge TCP/UDP
- Languages for test plaform: Java, hTML, XML, PHP.
- Phone OS: Android, iOS, windows
- Server OS: Linux Redhat
