JOB TITLE: Engineer - Communications (Combat Systems)
CLIENT: Leading Aerospace-Defence organisation
JOB TYPE: Contract

Purpose of Role:
The Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:- - Produce the specifications identifying the T26 provisions for GFA/MTE, any required adaptations to GFA/MTE systems, plans for the integration and delivery of GFA systems.
- Conduct assessments to establish the extent to which GFA equipment complies with T26 requirements.
- Undertake system definition activities to maintain functional and physical data in the T26 Integrated Architecture Framework.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Good understanding of the equipment's and engineering processes used on the T45, QEC and T26 project toolsets (eg DOORS, System Architect, Windchill, SDE) and the underpinning frameworks (MODAF, DODAF)
- Ideally, would have knowledge of RN communications systems (eg SATCOM).

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Honours degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline, or equivalent
