Job Description:

Design Release Engineer/Product Designer for the Bumper, Fascia, Grille & Lighting group, UG and Designer Capabilities Provides technical direction to support personnel, coordinates supportive build programs, coordinates test and/or development programs, coordinates engineering projects with other departments and/or divisions, coordinates with suppliers and/or customers on a regular basis and Coordinates the design analysis and process

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Previous Vehicle Experience 4-6 years
Product Development 4-6 years
UG Functions 7-9 years
Unigraphics
Strong ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
Strong understanding of materials, engineering theory and principles of design
Strong ability to use common measurement tools and techniques
Familiarity with basic hand and machine tools
Releases advance product components and/or line of products
Diagnoses and corrects deficiencies
Maintains cost controls
Provides technical direction to support personnel
Stays abreast of new technology

Desirable Qualifications:

Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills
Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently
Position related experience 6 years
Relevant auto industry exp required

Special Conditions:

Some travel to the US maybe required.
