Engineer

SUMMARY:

- Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of products and processes.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, manufacture, and coordinate with off site sources to execute custom tools and support product maintenance.
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
- Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Five to seven Engineering experience required.
- Previous experience designing and detailing welded structures is a requirement.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Job requires strong proficiency in Creo (modelling and detailing), familiarity with the client's releasing and engineering systems,
- Previous experience designing and detailing welded structures is a requirement.
- FEA proficiency is desired.
- Candidate must work well in team environment including coordinating design and detailing work with other engineers and providing manufacturing support all in a timely basis to meet committed delivery schedules.
