Engineer

SUMMARY:

- This position will be responsible for the design and analysis of heavy fabrications and manufacturing support.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and analyze new and existing heavy fabrications to meet durability and cost targets.
- Support 4 worldwide manufacturing facilities to resolve design related manufacturing issues.
- Investigate and implement cost reductions.
- Provide support to detailing team to create production drawings of designs.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, agricultural or related engineering required.
- Five to seven years engineering experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Demonstrated Pro- Engineer experience and previous industry related FEA experience are required, as well as a working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Previous experience with heavy fabrication design and welding are highly desired.
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability, team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
