Engineer

SUMMARY

- In this challenging role, the engineer will support HEX facility for startup, NPI, and quality collaboration for electrical and electrical systems (E&E) with HEDC Japan, E&ES, CAO, suppliers, and the new excavator facility.
- The engineer will work with supporting organizations such as Global Purchasing, Centers of Excellence and Global Product Validation.
- The engineer will regularly attend NPI/CPPD meetings as a representative to HEDC
- He/She will communicate and execute pertinent activity in support of NPI and CPI for NACD and the facility.
- The engineer will be responsible for working with process partners to ensure quality of the E&E components and spend time in the shop supporting quality.
- The engineer will manage the completion of his/her own work assignments and coordinate with others.
- The engineer will support the machine electrical systems to assure requirements are met for the North American market.
- The engineer will support Concurrent Product & Process Development (CPPD) with HEDC/Japan, Suppliers, Global Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
- He/she will support New Product Introduction (NPI), Advanced Quality Product Planning (APQP), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), engineering changes, quality deviations, resolve electrical issues from test cell testing, and cost management.
