Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with internal team members to define test conditions, test scenarios, test scripts, and test data types I
- Day-to-day activities in data collection, problem investigation, and problem resolution for gas and electric metering.
- Perform and review test results
- Assist in coordinating migrations in all environments
- Collect, assess, and forward performance and reliability related issues to the appropriate business support personnel
- Review and report system incidents, identify issues, and track resolution
- Assist with defect reports and action plans for enhancement requests
- Work with the lab manager and testers from other organizations
- Participate in the initial unit test/integration test and user tests
- Own the processes for initiating, executing and closing work
- Provide input to the processes for customer management
- Participate in weekly defect review meetings
- Must be flexible in accepting other activities as assigned
- May perform Field Test activities as required
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, network and equipment problems in the field using manufacturer's field tools
- Assisting with Deployment issues
- Set and relocate mobile network equipment in support of deployment efforts
- Lab and Field SAT Testing Support and Guidance

QUALIFICATIONS:
4 year Technical Degree and 5-10 years of technical experience is preferred. Meter engineering and smart grid experience desired. Open to entry level candidates without meter engineering or smart grid experience, but must have an engineering degree and preferably some working experience and/or recent internship.
