Engine Test Engineer (Diesel Engines) Job

ENGINE TEST ENGINEER needed for a 6-12 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Erie, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Engine Testing (Diesel Engines preferred)
- PLC's and HMI

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The individual would be responsible for managing the engine test cell day to day activities, providing work assignments to the hourly work force and interfacing with the engineering team.
- The individual will coordinate with the Engineering Team, Global Lab Team, and Program Management to ensure tests will be completed on schedule, as requested and at the quality standards required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from accredited college or university.
- Five (5 +) years in Engine Testing experience
- Specific skills should include good interpersonal skills, strong analytical ability, familiarity with PLC's, HMI and their associated software.
- Strong drive for meeting internal and external customer requirements.
- Motivated and self-starter.
- Ability to work with engineering, global labs, and program management effectively.
- Ladder Logic and other programming language experience
- Has working knowledge of a diesel engine.
- Highly organized and close attention-to-detail.
