Engagement Cooridnator

ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR - IMMEDIATE START - 8 WEEK CONTRACT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced engagement coordinator to join a well known construction and engineering company. The successful candidate will be from a PA type background and immediately available. Part of a team of five, your reporting line is through the Engagement Manager, GDSP, into the HR Director. So, this role offers the opportunity to work at both business unit and contract level.

COORDINATOR

You will be responsible for supporting the team in delivery of engagement and communications activities including:

- Support for internal engagement and communications campaigns across the GDSP
- creating and maintaining content on the Intranet pages
- maintaining noticeboards
- building and maintaining the photo library and shared folder
- booking photography, venues and printing
- co-ordination and logistics to support the team - whereabouts sheets, meetings, agendas, minutes
- team admin and IT support
- carrying out additional duties from time to time to meet the needs of the business
- driving your own development

The ideal candidate will have great written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail. You will be really organised, able to meet tight deadlines, have strong IT skills and be prepared to develop these to excellent (excel trackers, process maps, Powerpoint etc). A real team player, you will be happy to pitch in and provide support for major projects that require a focus from the whole team - such as large events and campaigns.

As important as skills and experience are your qualities of enthusiasm, drive, a positive 'can do' attitude, genuine interest in people and the ability to work through ambiguity as the business transforms. You will be robust, resilient and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment - and be able to provide examples and references to demonstrate these qualities.
