Energy Trading Risk Strategy Manager - Commodity Trading House - c.£80k London

My Client is a leading Energy Trading Company who's growing success has created a vacancy for a Trading Risk Strategy Manager to strengthen their growing Front Office Risk team.

This is a high visibility role where you will work closely with the Front Office Origination and Trading teams and will be responsible for analysing and challenging key trading strategies. You will join a highly skilled team of risk specialists leading the implementation of risk indicators and defining stress scenarios with Market Risk. You will be highly influential in this strategic role and will work alongside the Front Office Trading business and model validation and provide independent analysis and measure how transactions fit with overall business strategies.

The following experience is required:

-Proven risk experience from an energy trading company
-Working knowledge of Gas/ Power/ Coal markets
-Experience working within a Front Office Trading environment
-Strong quantitative capacity with numerate Academic background.
-Strong Excel, VBA, Access skill
