Energy Retail Application Consultant

Location - South UK

Pay - £500/£550 per day

Type - 6 month contract

My client, a large national Energy & Utility company based in the South of the UK, urgently requires a Energy Retail Application Consultant.

Key responsibilities

Capture of business requirements along with Production of functional design documentation from business requirements. Specification of product customisation & enhancements with production of user/training documentation. You will also carry out testing of software during software implementation phases.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

My client has indicated the following skills as essential for this role. You must be a Subject matter expert with a deep understanding of the industry defined Business Processes operating in the UK Energy Retail and/or Metering industry segments. Detailed knowledge of the relationships between industry participants in the market including the governance regulation and the data transfer/communications mechanisms which support these relationships are also key to this role. In depth knowledge of both the UK energy markets and Gas and Electricity data flows and communication methods are also essential requirements.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Process & Datamodelling (BPMN, UML, Case Tools)
- System Analysis

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In depth knowledge and experience of industry processes within the European Energy Markets would be advantageous, along with experience of SAP IDEX solutions, SAP IS-U Device Management and AMI.
