Energy Manager

Our client is a forward-thinking organisation based in the North West of England. They currently require an Energy Manager on an interim basis, in order to validate and deliver their energy reduction strategy. This is initially a 6 month contract but is part of a long-term programme.

The position will involve:
- Development, agreement and delivery of a energy efficiency schemes and investments
- Management of the organisation's energy use and costs
- Delivery of energy saving investments and actions to achieve required targets
- Delivery of cultural/behavioural change with regard to energy consumption
- Procurement and management of contracts for the implementation of maintenance and energy saving projects
- Management of one member of staff

We are looking for an energy management professional with experience of the operation and management or IT based energy management systems, experience in identifying and quantifying energy saving opportunities, a demonstrable track record is delivering measurable reductions in energy, a strong understanding of the wider energy/carbon reduction context/legislation, experience of managing team/projects/contractors and strong audting/reporting skills.

Experience of relevant energy measurement software is advantageous, are are relevant qualifications
