Energy Finance Business Partner, Hove, £35-40k

An Energy Major with strong power and gas portfolios is recruiting for an exceptional individual to join the team inHoveas a Senior Commercial Analyst. The Senior Commercial Analyst will have a particular focus on retail performance including energy services, acquisition, marketing and other key areas. You will be required to work alongside the divisional director, to challenge the current protocol and strive for improved performance within the B2C space. You will business partner with different areas of the business including corporate finance and strategy teams to support, analyse and challenge business performance, business decisions and metrics. Your role will include leading the production of monthly reporting packs which provide financial and operational management information, forecasts and commentary to influence and challenge retail performance of the company. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a high profile, with excellent internal exposure to various other departments and management within the company. The broad scope within this role is significant and wide ranging and thus it requires a candidate with outstanding interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will have: * Qualified/Part qualified Accountant * Educated to degree standard * A strong knowledge of the financial reporting process * A good understanding of theUKretail energy market * Commercial acumen with experience of maintaining performance management metrics to effectively manage business performance. * Experience of handling internal business relationships, providing both support and challenge to business performance.
