Duration - 6 months

Rate - £370-£450 per day

My client, a large national Energy & Utility IT Services company based in the North West, urgently requires an Energy Consultant.

Key responsibilities include:

Capture of business requirements along with Production of functional design documentation from business requirements. Specification of product customisation & enhancements with production of user/training documentation. You will also carry out testing of software during software implementation phases.

Essential Skills & Experience

My client has indicated the following skills as essential for this role:

You must be a Subject matter expert with a deep understanding of the industry defined Business Processes operating in the UK Energy Retail and/or Metering industry segments. Detailed knowledge of the relationships between industry participants in the market including the governance regulation and the data transfer/communications mechanisms which support these relationships. In depth knowledge of both the UK energy markets and Gas and Electricity data flows and communication methods are also essential requirements.
