ENDUR TECHNICAL SERVICES Consultants

Endur Technical Services are responsible for technical support and maintenance of a position management solution based on a product developed by an external vendor (Endur developed by OpenLink).

We are looking for resources to strengthen our Endur Technical Services in Trondheim.

We are looking for resources that have a broad basic skill set that covers administration of Servers, network and databases. It is also important that the persons are service minded and willing to learn new areas.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS THESE REQUIREMENTS NEED TO BE SPECIFIED IN THE CANDIDATE`S CV:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Central areas:

- Endur (relevant training will be given)
- Databases - Oracle
- Servers, mainly Windows

Other areas:

- Tools and routines for Configuration Management (Version control and Change Control)
- Deployment of new releases
- Migration (data and code) between the different environments (development, test and production)
- Monitoring of Endur environments
- Monitoring and maintenance of the interfaces between Endur and other solutions (internal and external)
- Carry out changes to existing configuration
- Follow up, Investigate and fix defects in configuration and Statoil specific functionality
- Participate in testing of the technical side of fixes, new versions, hardware upgrades etc
- BizTalk
- Citrix
- MS SQL
- WebSphere MQ
- Tomcat
- Network/Firewall

Experience & Qualifications:

- Educated in IT
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
- Scaling and configuration of infrastructure
- Personal capabilities
- Structured and well organized
- Speak and write English fluently
- Good communication skills
- Is comfortable working across organizational and geographical borders
- Be able to handle high work load in periods
- Be able to work independently
- Must be prepared to spend time learning the business
- Ability to interact with business users and explain problems and solutions in a non-technical way
