Endeca Specialist - Utrecht - 3 Month Contract

ENDECA SPECIALIST

ENDECA SPECIALIST required for an initial 3-month contract based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

You should be a proficient coder with intrinsic knowledge of every facet of the platform. Someone who can decipher complex business cases to design and deploy maintainable and scalable enterprise systems and applications for our clients.

It goes without saying that you will need to be technically minded, but we also need you to be personable and lead teams on large development initiatives. With the ability to draw upon your extensive experience and skills to help coach team members.

WHAT WE WANT THEM TO DO

- During the planning and design phase, lead team members to come up with comprehensive and viable designs and estimates
- Depending on project size, develop subsystem or full-systems using technologies assigned by the technical architect
- Develop clean, accurate and effective code
- Collaborate with the Front End team and other technical people to integrate Back End and Front End issues
- Participate in project meetings including post project analysis and provide insightful input and ideas and effectively communicate project status and challenges
- Partner with QA throughout the development process and quickly respond to bugs and errors identified by QA
- Ensure bugs are rectified and manage the preparation of documentation explaining the steps taken to overcome bugs
- Ensure accurate documentation throughout projects
- Research and experiment with new technologies and share your discoveries with the teams
- Contribute to internal projects on an as needed basis
