An excellent opportunity is now available for an End-User Computing & Service Desk Service Transition Manager for a long term contract located in Sydney's CBD!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the transition scope and characteristics for the End-User Computing, Service Desk, Service Integration and IT Service Management, and aligns transition activities with the Service Provider transition activities & construct a Transition Plan in collaboration with the selected service provider.

RESPONSIBILITIESwith demonstrated success in managing and directing projects, including containment of timelines, budgets and risks
- Proven history in IT infrastructure service management and the management of customer strategy, services and business processes; and the application of service transition methodologies, tools and templates.
- knowledge of the impact to Business and IT operating and service delivery models, processes and people in relation to the introduction of change associated with such significant transitional initiatives.
- IT professional qualifications and/or relevant tertiary qualifications with expert level competency in ITIL, ITSM, PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK and/or P3O (or, other equivalent project management and/or process improvement/engineering certification).
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentational)
- Government experience highly regarded
