End User Computing Manager (S17)

END USER COMPUTING MANAGER - CONTRACT

My Client is an Enterprise Organisation, looking for an End User Computing Manager to effectively lead and develop the Operational Services Infrastructure teams to deliver available, secure, cost effective infrastructure and support services in conformance to ITSM processes and Business and Operational Service levels.

This role will be End User Computing Technology focused and will involve the management of the operational teams, Strategic management of the end user computing space as well as delivery of improvement intitaives and project delivery across end user computing technologies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the business performance of the Field Services, end user provisioning, Mail/Messaging Services and Asset management teams ensuring dashboards are up to date and compliance with required policies, standards and processes.
- Ensure all Infrastructure and Systems are maintained and operated at acceptable service and availability levels.
- Ensure the f ramework and processes in place for to continue to improve end user experience at ALL of my clients sites.
- Monitor the performance and financial aspects of applicable IT services contracts & report exceptions to management.
- Maintain a hands on and strategic focus across the End User Computing space

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Experience in managing teams within end user computing (Service Desk, Field Services, Mobility etc)
- Extensive hands on operational experience across both BAU and project delivery
- Strategic experience across End user Computing, with the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels.
- Prior experience in End User modernisation for a large organisation.
- Strong demonstrated people management and communication skills, including leading, influencing, and motivating teams
- Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline (or experience deemed equivalent) plus 15-20 years experience in IT with a minimum of 10 years experience in IT Operations.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge across a wide range of IT disciplines including architecture, project management, service and vendor management 
- Extensive knowledge and experience of organisational change management
- Detailed understanding and experience in using ITIL service management framework
